A French-Japanese Restaurant on Fairfax

ADKT is a French-Japanese restaurant and bar on Fairfax Avenue in West Hollywood, open late into the night. We designed the interior as a garden after dark: greenery hanging from the ceiling, raw stone and rattan at eye level, and warm, low light everywhere else. The dining room, the bar and the lounge each have their own character, but they read as one place.

The Bar

A Bar Worth Coming For

The bar runs along a backlit wall of bottles, with an aquarium set into the end of the counter. Rattan stools, curved cream banquettes and a palm print wall keep it relaxed. It works as a destination of its own, not just a place to wait for a table.
